This painting was Inspired by the shapes and forms created by the human form in the yogi posture (asana) with the same name. In this asana, the yoga practitioner balances on one's sacrum with palms on the floor beside, and feet/legs over one's head.
"Dwi Pada Sirasana" is best viewed with the image rotated 1/8 turn, so the painting is diamond-shaped.
